how to add scripts
Ok, so I have posted a link to a bunch of different sites that have scripts on them. First things first, here is something all banner makers should know:
What Is A Script?
Scripts are basically codes that go into your Banner Making Program and they make simple things like creating Neon Text or adding a border on your picture simply happen at the click of a button! There are a lot of scripts out there and more being created daily! A lot of them are really helpful too, and make simple things even simpler! So you will need to know how to add these to your software!
Adding The Scripts
1. Find the script that you want. Once you find the script that you want, click the link provided (at Deviant Art you will click Download to Desktop).

2. Go to File>Save As or Save Page As. Here is where I may loose some of ya'll.

3. A screen should pop up that looks like something you would see when you go to My Computer. You have the file right there to save, but now you need to stick it in the right folder. You are going to go to the little dropdown menu at the top of that popup menu and click on My Computer. From here on click on the icons.

4. Once you get to the My Computer screen, you need to go to Local Disc (C:).

5. From Local Disc, go to Documents and Settings. There you should be able to find your program that you use. I use Photoshop 7, so I would look for Photoshop 7.0. If you are using Gimp 2.2, look for whichever icon says Gimp 2.2 under it! Same with Paint Shop Pro.

6. Click on your software and it should go to a screen with a bunch of icons that say stuff like Fonts, Brushes, etc. I want you to go to Scripts!

7. Once you are at scripts, click Save File, and you have a new script with your program!

Remember, you should only use scripts that are directed towards your program, unless you have a special file that converts scripts to your filetype! If you save a script that is not in your filetype, it will not work!
