I started really getting into web design about early February of 2006 and the first site I began working on, a fansite for the popular tv network The-N titled real-life-now.net, ended up being canceled because it was too big a workload for the staff. I really wanted to start a personal blog/showcase site where I could show off my graphics and tell everyone about myself. That's when this website came into mind. I originally wanted to call it Alternative Designs, but that didn't fit right because it wasn't just about graphics. Instead I was sitting around and came up with the name buried-alive.org. I thought it was perfect for this kind of a website! While it may seem a bit morbid, it definitely describes how I feel sometimes. Trapped and suffocating, under pressure, etc. So I bought a domain from 1 and 1 and got hosted by LBN Hosting. Unfortunately, LBN Hosting got shut down so I moved around a bit until I finally found myself comfortable as a hostee on Alys' personal site and hosting network.
